Quantum Mechanics and Relativity | Their Uniication by Local Time |

چکیده
In a framework of a stationary universe, time is deened as a local and quantum-mechanical notion in the sense that it is deened for each local and quantum-mechanical system consisting of a nite number of particles. In this context, the total universe consisting of an innnite number of particles has no time associated, and quantum mechanics and general theory of relativity are united consistently. Relativistic Hamiltonians including gravitation are derived as a consequence of our treatment of observation. Related open problems in mathematical physics are presented .

Local Time and the Uni cation of PhysicsPart
The notions of time in the theories of Newton and Einstein are reviewed so that the diiculty which impedes the uniication of quantum mechanics (QM) and general relativity (GR) is clariied. It is seen that GR by itself contains an intrinsic diiculty relating to the deenition of local clocks, as well as that GR still requires a kind of absolute that can serve as an objective reference standard. W...

We elaborate on some recent results on a solution of the Hilbert-space problem in minisuperspace quantum cosmology and discuss the consequences of making the (geometry of the) Hilbert space of ordinary nonrelativistic quantum systems time-dependent. The latter reveals a remarkable similarity between Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity.

— A model of a stationary universe is proposed. In this framework, time is defined as a local and quantum-mechanical notion in the sense that it is defined for each local and quantum-mechanical system consisting of finite number of particles. The total universe consisting of infinite number of particles has no time associated. It is a stationary bound state of the total Hamiltonian of infinite ...
